One evening, an elderly Cherokee Grandfather was teaching his grandson about life.

“There is a fight going on inside me,” he told his Grandson. “It is a fight between two wolves. One wolf is ugly and evil. It is anger, envy, greed, unforgiveness, arrogance, selfishness, guilt, and war.”

“The other wolf is beautiful and good. It is love, joy, hope, peace kindness, justice, fairness, generosity, faith, and compassion.”

“This same fight is going on inside you and every other living human being,” he said.

The boy paused in thought, and asked, “Grandfather, which one will win?”

Without pause, the Grandfather replied, “The one you feed.”

Which wolf will you feed this week?
