Wolfram|Alpha Finally Launches!
WolframAlpha is not just your ordinary search engine. Rather than scouring the web and returning relevant links, Wolfram|Alpha is a “computational knowledge engine” that specializes in data – and lots of it. Easy to use, you simply enter a calculation or free-form question in the search box. Using built-in algorithms and data collections, Wolfram|Alpha attempts to provide a solution.
For instance, if you were looking for information on probability, typing in “Probability 4 heads 1 tail” would get you much more than a list of links on probability.
